Bryan Kim is a Judicial Officer in the Solano County Superior Court. He is a former prosecutor and a dedicated community volunteer.  He and his family are proud to call this beautiful area home, and Bryan is committed to the values and traditions that make Solano County a great place to live.

Bryan Kim graduated from UC Berkeley and attended law school at UC Davis. Bryan began his legal career in 2002 as a prosecutor in the Inyo County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases. Bryan was also responsible for prosecuting all of the domestic violence cases in the county.

In 2005, Bryan began his service to Solano County when he joined the District Attorney’s Office. He was in the office for 14 years and during his tenure his assignments included Gang Crimes, Major Narcotics, Major Crimes and General Felonies. Bryan kept this community safe by prosecuting homicides, major drug trafficking cases, violent assaults and gang crimes. He has tried over fifty felony jury trials, and in 2010, he won a civil gang injunction for the City of Fairfield, which stops gang members from engaging in disruptive and violent behavior.

In 2019, the judges of the Solano County Superior Court elected Bryan to serve as a Commissioner of the Superior Court. He has overseen thousands of cases, heard hundreds of trials and legal motions and conducted over 20 jury trials. He ensures everyone has a fair trial, that guilty defendants are held accountable for their crimes, and that justice is served.  It is precisely this brand of proven justice that he will continue to bring to the citizens of Solano County as your next Judge.

I am honored to be a Commissioner of the Superior Court and I’m committed to fairness and accountability in every case I handle.
